Southeastern Oklahoma is home to a wide variety of lakes, and one of the lakes that has gained popularity in the last several years is Broken Bow Lake. Situated just north of Broken Bow, OK and set in the beginning of the Ouachita Mountains, this azure-blue lake is a summertime favorite in a growing area.
Since the lake is mostly surrounded by national forest and game preserve, all of the action is on the southwest side of the lake in Hochatown, OK. It is the hub of activity on the lake with family fun such as go-karts, putt-putt golf, petting zoo and plenty more, along with restaurants, breweries, wineries, distilleries and hundreds of rental cabins.
