Cedar Creek Lake Vacation Rentals – Cedar Creek Lake, located just one hour southeast of Dallas, is the fourth largest lake in Texas and has a huge selection of vacation lake houses and cabins. Cedar Creek Lake includes a vibrant communityand it is one of the few lakes in Northeast Texas that allows private docks and boathouses. Cedar Creek lake is known for great boating, water skiing and jet skiing but it also has abundant catfish, largemouth bass, white bass, hybrid striped bass, and crappie.
Lake Bridgeport Vacation Rentals – Located roughly one hour northwest of Fort Worth Texas, Lake Bridgeport is a smaller, 11,954 acres lake with a maximum depth of 85 feet. While Lake Bridgeport is a more “quaint” setting than many of the larger lakes, it is plenty large for watersports and fishing. Due to the smaller size, there are only a handful of vacation rentals available at Lake Bridgeport.
Possum Kingdom Lake Vacation Rentals – Possum Kingdom Lake, located two hours west of Fort Worth, is one of the most popular recreation lakes in north Texas. Possum Kingdom Lake is famous for its incredible clear blue water and “hells gate,” a channel which cuts between an island and a row of cliffs. Texoma is a great watersports and fishing lake but has become a very popular sailing center due to the lake’s size, depth and miles of sailing shoreline.
Lake Granbury Vacation Rentals – Granbury, just an hour south west of Fort Worth, has become an extremely popular tourist and bed and breakfast destination.
