This year, fireworks shows are back for 4th of July celebrations. Last year we saw a lot of cancellations from pandemic concerns, despite a noticeable rise in lake and boating activity. With a few exceptions, most of the regular annual fireworks shows are back on lakes across Texas and Oklahoma.
With July 4 landing on a Sunday this year, there are actually more fireworks shows on the water on Saturday July 3, with even a few on Friday night. If you play your cards right, you can watch a fireworks show over the water every night of this holiday weekend!

Grand Lake
There are 3 fireworks shows all on Saturday, covering the entire lake in Grove, Monkey Island and Disney.

Choctaw Casino will be putting on a fireworks show off the lake in the town of Broken Bow.

Possum Kingdom Lake
The annual Hell’s Gate fireworks show will be on Saturday July 3. This is always a spectacular sight to see.
